Yer most of them where from when I was learning how to use the airbrush , so it was better to try and copy gigers style,and learn by trial and error But I suppose most of them do have sad eyes and whats worse I look like most em hehee

One thing that makes pretty good money over here. A stump grinder.

You charge 1.50 a inch ,measure across and then around and multiply it somehow and thats what you charge.
The people I know who have one made a large chunk of change , you work when you want to and the amount you make depends on how hard you hustle the machine's services. Put up ad s in the local store windows , start with friends and you have to push it but it pays very well. if you are able to self promote. One guy paid for his the first month. A used Vermer b52 runs 6000. New about 14000. A set of teeth is around 150 and you can resharpin them , diamond wheel about 40 . All the numbers are us I don't know about over there. The one I mentioned is self propelled and you need to be careful they throw stuff all over .
Any way if you can get a loan to buy one you can work it and make the payment and still have time to do digie.stuff. love and hugs bubba, Katz

Yer stump grinding can be pretty profitable here as well, But at the moment I really don't want to get my self in debt to the banks with interest on loans going up and up, But it maybe one fine future direction though, But with the Welder I can pay cash for that and helmet and steel for under a thousand bucks, And if the business fails "And it probably would anyway!" I wouldn't have lost so much money. So it comes down to which is better a Mig or a Tig welder for what I want to use it for, Still have to do a bit more research before I'd outlay the cash..

Gonna get me some Jarrah timber this week I have a hankering to get some carving done, I really want do those Horses heads and the life size eagle, There's 200 bucks in timber. Jezz they charge alot for scummy railways sleepers!

I believe I am going to paint this picture for the lous Royo contest. It will be over in about two or three days so I will use water colors. I have not painted in so long I don't even have any other paints and don't know if the waters are still good.
While Giger is fantastic and a real one of a kind. I like R.Mathews better also. I think he lettering is outstanding and I like his imagination. from his pic he is easy on the eyes also. [ I am old not blind or dead!!]
The rider and horse have stopped for water and been bushwhacked by a puma[ mountion lion or couger.}
I might do the other one called cosmic cast away.
I went 50 miles to a art supplie store and got a wild hair while I was there and spent 50. on airbrush tips and a couple of paint brushes and hubby turned green.
He spends money like water and I try to be stingie , but it just does not work for me. Besides now I am saving my pennies for some false teeth.
That dentist , I may call and give him a cussing , the left side of my face is purple from the middle up my chin half way up to my ear and its numb.; my entire jaw is numb. I was cussing him mentaly when I left the office . butt wipe .
This guy is supposed to be a surgen . An oral surgen.
well I am going to haul the couch out of the living room today. I hate that couch when you set on it you fell like your going through it to the floor. then its hard to get out of.
I am going to Rural king later today to see if they have there new horses out and put some in the layaway.
I know they have had them in the back for a month. I prefer new bodies to work on the plastic is less brittle.
People that do the prep work on the bodys get paid about $50 a body. You have to find all the seams , sand them off and then fill in any dips and or pinholes. I don't mind the sanding , its the pinholes that make me crazy. fill them in and sand. you think you got them alll and then you prime and you get 900 little tiny pinholes show up so you do it agin. and again and then again. makes me crazed. I prep my own but I wont do anyone elses again.

Ok I'm gonna knuckle down today and see if i can make a serious dent in finishing that danmed car model today! "Jezz I'm a slack bastard at times! hehe

Oh I like the rough of the cougar or mountain lion. So is that what you are going to paint for the Comp? also that palomino looks rather coolz.

I'm fairly lucky where I live there's no shortage of art stores and art supplies, there's a fairly lively arts community so i'm lucky in that respect. But on the other hand Australians aren't very appreciative of the arts, Well the politicians think it's great big waste of time anyway.


And really sorry to hear about your dice with the dentist , yer I've got another jaw infection so I can symapthize, I think once you get past 40 unless you have perfect teeth, Then I think it's time to think about getting them removed,They are just way to much trouble, Anyway after 40 who the hell are we trying to impress anyway! hehe

And if you ol man is complaining about a few art supplies then after he's gonna splash out on an expensive Tig welder ,then he's just a tight arse! hehe

He is not so much tight as he wants me to stop doing what I do and help him.
When we first got married I helped him cut firewood and sell it to pay his child support and pay our bills.
I used to help him all the time. aperently I used to be very strong for a woman. Not anymore to old. I used to sand the clocks he would cut out to sell and haul firewood and just generally worked my tail off . I feel llike if I can cut firewood ,he can help wash dishes. He tells me his momma did not raise him to do womans work. I told him I was not raised to do a mans work either but I did ;so I quit. I have not cut firewood in about 6 years and it really grinds his gears and he thinks my horses are in the way and take up too much room.
Most people in this area think art is a waste of time. Unless you can bring home big bucks. My brother in law looked at one of my horses and I told him what the woman paid for it and he just said she was crazy. or stupid .
I bought a blanket yesterday and hubby goes wad ya get that for? cause I have a lot of blankets or comforters. The one I got was just a piece of clothe it is a soft peach color and its soft and fuzzy and I just liked it. The color and touch of it was talking to me.
Not very much logic to it but it was my money. Its pretty. Everything I get is practical or useful. This was just pretty. and soft.
I have been sleeping for the last few days . the painkillers for my jaw kicked my butt. I called and fussed at them today and have to go back in a few days.
the brusie is fading and my touge is almost normal. jaw bone is still painfull , woke me up this morning.
I like the way those rubs smell , the ones for sore muscles like bengay. My husband hates the smell. he likes another smell.
I like the smell of mint and of camphor. kinda weird , not together though. well I will be back in the morning bye for now. Love and hugs how is the car coming?? Katz

Yer I know how he feels about doing the dishes, I leave mine in the sink untill the no choice but wash them!! ;D ;D My old girl dosen't like my idea that we buy paper plates that we can throw in the garbage "the ol bat!" ;D ;D ;D

I do get paper plates, I did not go to college to be a dishwasher.
I am trying to teach my kids to take care of things like that and they think I am just trying to dump the work on them but I am not , I am not going to live forever I want them to be able to take care of themselves when I go. And not when some one is going do this or do that but when they see it needs to be done. For there own sake. I have to ride their butts just to get them to brush their teeth and pick up their clothes . Sad , the gameboy generation.
Halo 3 came out and people waited in line for hours till the stores opend up at midnight to buy it and if I had the money I would have been there too.

I th ink I may sue the dentist . The bone in the front is shattered in about four places and shards are moving around under the skin. Dr. Death.
