New Idea magazine is believed to have secured the Australian rights to publish the first pictures of the twin babies of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
The snaps of Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline are expected to appear in the magazine, out on Tuesday, a day after its normal publication day.
The twins had not been glimpsed by the outside world since they were born at a hospital in Nice, in the south of France, on July 12.
A first photo has appeared online on the website of US celebrity magazine People.
People bought the US rights for the photos and British glossy Hello! won international rights, in a deal rumoured to be $14 million ($15.07 million).
The fee will be donated to charity. There is no word on how much New Idea paid for the photos.
In the People magazine article, Jolie talks about how the family is adjusting.
"It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time," she said.
Pitt adds: "[It's] still a cuckoo's nest."
In its 4.30pm (AEST) news bulletin, the Seven Network - which is part of the same company as New Idea - said the magazine with the pictures would be out on Tuesday.
But a company spokesman would not confirm the deal.
The magazine scored the exclusive picture rights of the stars' daughter Shiloh Nouvel two years ago after Australia's then richest bidding war in which New Idea reportedly paid about $700,000 for a one-off use.
As well as their biological brood, Pitt and Jolie are also parents to three adopted children, Maddox, six, born in Cambodia; four-year-old Pax, born in Vietnam; and Zahara, three, born in Ethiopia.
The last bidding war for celebrity offspring photos was when the twins of Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony fetched $US6 million ($A6.46 million).
Jezz all that money just to see Jolie's screamin brats!I hate em more than ever now!
